In most cases, no. The integration uses your existing Litify fields and folder structure to determine which cases and documents sync to Pattern. If any adjustments are needed, our solutions team will guide you through them during setup.

How long does setup take?

Setup time can vary depending on your Litify environment. Once Pattern's backend configuration is in place, the Litify side of setup takes approximately 40 minutes and is handled by your Salesforce admin using Pattern's step-by-step guide. Your Pattern team will walk you through the full timeline and manage the backend setup from start to go-live.

Who handles setup on my firms end?

A Salesforce admin on your team completes the Litify-side setup using Pattern's setup instructions. Pattern's team handles everything on the backend and supports you through configuration and go-live.

We already get cases into Pattern. Why would we switch to the Litify integration?

You do not have to. If your current setup is working, there is no obligation to change it. That said, firms that switch to the Litify integration typically do so because they want results and exports to flow back to Litify automatically, without manual steps after review is complete. The bidirectional sync is where most of the operational value is, not just getting cases and documents in.

What data flows back to Litify from Pattern?
